Today, Big J went to the mall with his many gift cards for the video store. He just returned, and he had spent some of it on a game just for me, for the DS.

Jewel Quest, which I love to play on line.

That is really sweet. What a great, thoughtful kid.

For as long as it lasts.

He loves you. He really, really loves you. We all know that. He just likes to test that every now and then.

Today was makeup time. He did good.

Believe me, just when you think all hope is lost, they catch you off guard and amaze you with something really thoughtful.

My youngest is 22 and he still does it.
