Can't hang out much longer.

Someone else will have to do the real heavy lifting.

It's going to be the same for me. I have been writing thank you notes and puttering around the house, but I need to go check out clearance stuff at Target and go grocery shopping.

(I promise, Jeff, I will not buy any more 1/2 off wrapping paper. I understand that I have enough to last for five to ten years.)

So I was going through all of our Holiday cards this morning and have a funny quote from a Holiday letter to share:
"Yes it's true, though I'm not sure how, we are the parents of two teenagers. It's official, John and I are quickly becoming the dumbest people our children know."

Piker. We're still working with wrapping paper purchased from fund-raisers when the kids (now 22 and 24) were in elementary school. With the clearance stuff underneath it in the storage box.

GW's weakness is the clearance ornaments. We could decorate wintergreen's three trees and then start working on the rest of the forest.

I have fundraising wrapping paper as well.

Neither of the girls sold wrapping paper this year. Maddie sold candles. I got rid of many of them for the holidays, but I will be burning them for a while.

I have a lot of clearance ornaments as well. I got rid of a lot of them the last time that we moved, eight years ago. Lately the only way that I decrease the amount of ornaments is by Jasper breaking them.

The frenzy to post seems to increase when there are less than 100 posts to go.
