Yesterday I took the girls to Borders to look at 50% off calendars for 2008.
I was amazed to find this calendar for sale:

I didn't buy it, I got a Frank Lloyd Wright calendar.

Geez, why don't they tell us how they REALLY feel?

Not real subtle, are they?
This is the kind of writing that people like flock think all liberals do exclusively.

I was starting to feel relieved that my own name was not on such a list, until I reached "9. You." Damn.
"Sentence: A gradual decline into abject poverty as you continue to vote against your own self-interest. Death by an easily treated disorder that your health insurance doesn't cover. " Yep. That sounds like it will work out in due time.

It's a vast left-wing conspiracy.

I couldn't get the title site to come up either.
I too, however, went to my favorite bookstore for 50% off calendars, and I'm going to name them all so as to pad my post count and contribute toward getting closer to the Gus.

The bookstore didn't have the calendar PSM showed. I did buy The 365* Stupidest Things Ever Said for my (theoretical) Science PAF. It's a tradition, I've been buying it for her every year since the first one, but they never seem to run out of 365 stupid things.
* with an extra stupid quote for leap year!

I bought SteelersFan a Steelers Fan daily calendar, hoping he'll swing by and return the favor today with a Broncos calendar.
Y'all know the Trivia Answer from April 29 -- "Who is the only quarterback younger than Ben Roethlisberger to start in a Super Bowl?"
I'm fairly confident most of y'all don't know January 30's Steelers Fact, but it's short: "Steelers wide receive Santonio Holmes is a cousin of Jaguars running back Fred Taylor."

The site came up for me earlier, but now it's down.

I bought the Wine Lovers's Calendar for (theoretical) SciencePAF's niece, who is about to follow her aunt into the home wine-making business.
It's not a business . . . you know what I mean.

I bought John Fielder's 2008 Engagement Calendar for myself.

I was hoping to get some wine-making material this Christmas, but no such luck.
Now I'll have to decide if I want to divert some of my funds from other worthy causes.

Maddie bought a Picasso Calendar. We fought over the Frank Lloyd Wright calendar, but since I hanging it downstairs, she said that I could have it.

Jeff did not want a calendar.

Dang, I forgot to get a wolf calendar for GW this year. She has so many wolf decorations around her office that her boss is afraid to come in.

I got the Medical Bloopers 2008 Calendar for an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) friend.
"One patient came in complaining of abdominal pain and a red line around his stomach at the end of the day. The doctor had him remove his shirt to check it out. Diagnosis: Belt too tight."

I got the Sudoku day to day calendar for a friend who's almost as crazy about them as I am.

Obviously the cats did not get calendars. They have no concept of time.

They have a perfectly good concept of time.
It's just not the same as ours....
