Only in the Birthplace of Starbucks

Apparently, one county in Washington is trying to crack down on coffeeshops featuring bikini-clad baristas.

I'm curious as to how they are going to draft an ordinance that spells out just what sort of attire is or is not permitted.
On the other hand, I sure wouldn't to be an employee who has a cup of hot coffee spilled on a part of her anatomy where ordinarily the sun doesn't shine. That would make for a very interesting worker's comp claim.

Not only there. The other side of the country has a better version:

This all brings back warm memories of the old Debbie Does Donuts in Ft. Collins, Colo. Wonder if it's still there. Ah...good times!

Speaking of cheap coffee (not), everytime I go into Costco I get closer and closer to buying a Keurig. I was talking to the lady at BB&B when I got my last French Press and she said she absolutely loves it. I expressed dismay at having to buy those little cups (my Melitta is useless since I can't find the pods for it anymore) and she said they come with a reusable one for your own coffee. Ever since then I've been obsessed with them.
Anybody have a Keurig experience or opinion to share?

You don't want that clothed or unclothed. Clothing keeps the heat next to your skin if there's a spill, so a burn injury may be worse.

Or if you're wearing a spiffy polyester Walgreen's waitress uniform, the hot coffee will melt the fabric and bond it to your skin.

Ouch!
That is a very bad thing.

LB, your newest Mattias avatar may be the cutest yet. I say "may" only because so many of them are adorable. This one particularly tickled me, though -- as it did Evil Squirrel.

They did when they had restaurants or "grills" (not grillz). I don't know if they have any left or not.
Walgreen's restaurants are famous!
The malted milkshake was invented by a Walgreen's soda jerk named Pops Coulson! I also believe (but can't swear to it) that Walgreen's came up with the Windy City.
Walgreen's invented the patty melt! Well, I don't know if they invented putting a hamburger patty on rye bread, but they came up with the name. Used to be that only Walgreens could capitalize Patty Melt. All other restaurants had to go lower case unless they paid Chuck's people, but I don't know if that's still true.
So, next time you're enjoying a patty melt and a malt, give a little salute to the glory that was Walgreen's.....

That's what Natalie's husband wants for his birthday. The one that makes the single serve.
His birthday is December 15th. I hope BB&B carry them as I have coupons in tow.
