Wow, when I logged on just 15 minutes ago, the news on my homepage still just said "injured in an attack".

Sure enough, it has since changed....

This is not good. Iran only has a potential bomb. Pakistan has the real thing, and if the Islamists manage to take over, I don't want to think about the potential for catastrophe.

Too many weapons, too little brains.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

When I logged in for any Annie update previously, the news said "undergoing surgery". My sister just gave me the update. Very bad news.

Every time I read anything about Bhuto I remember an interview she gave around 30 years ago before she went back home to run for the 1st time, at the end of which she mused about who would be taking care of her 2 Siamese cats, who couldn't make the international trip for whatever reasons.

My sister is saying she should have been campaigning in a bullet-proof glass booth, but I say that doesn't go over well in Pakistan. Maybe it should.

A very brave and charismatic political leader, indeed. She will be missed.

It's a bit ironic that a "Jeopardy!" question last night was about Bhutto.

Also of note is the fact that Bhutto was the subject of the very first question answered incorrectly on WWTBAM in the States.
