Good vibes for Midnight (also representing the current hour here on the East Coast.) Must to bed, but will first quickly check SC's thread.

Good news finally

Midnight will be coming home sometime today, depending on our schedule and her continued recovery. She is, to quote this morning's report, "eating up a storm", which makes me think that whatever was wrong had been building for a while. She had been irregular with her feedings - sometimes fine, sometimes skipping meals - for about a month. Bloat is supposed to have a sudden onset, but who knows if that was the complete issue?

So it looks like we'll have our big black sweetie around for a bit longer yet. Thank you for all the good wishes.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Oh, this is good news! I know Midnight will be just as thrilled to be home as you are to have her.

May you enjoy many more happy years together.
