I had to look it up. It's a northern California based company with sales in 2005 of 336 million dollars. They don't sell their cookies in the stores that I shop other than bulk frozen cookie dough at Costco. And I have never seen their commercials.

They were also sold in Subway sub shops. I always used to get a foot long and 3 chocolate chip cookies. mmmm fresh baked cookies

Let me rephrase that - as is the case with most government-leased facilities, the vending machines and snack shops are run by blind people.

If it makes you feel better, the question has a factual error. If you have ever visited Key West and taken the tour, then you know that it was the entire Florida Keys that seceded. Key West merely is the capital of the Conch Republic.

There are some other interesting tidbits.

- The secession was caused by the blockade of US Highway 1, which was the only land connection to the mainland.

- As part of the secession ceremony, the mayor of Key West broke a loaf of stale Cuban bread over the head of a man dressed in a U.S. Navy uniform.

- one minute after seceding, the Conch Republic surrendered in its civil war against the United States. The mayor/prime minister surrendered to the admiral in charge of the Navy Base at Key West, demanding 1 Billion dollars in foreign aid and war relief to rebuild the Conch Republic after the long Federal siege.

- By act of Congress, residents of the Conch Republic hold dual "citizenship", as both Americans and Conchs.

Otherwise good. I had to dissect a conch in biology class. I guess you could find them all along the Gulf coast maybe, but Key West was most likely to ID itself by them.
