I guess for you, this day is as exciting as your birthday.

How exactly did 11 become your lucky number, anyway?

We had a most moving Veterans Day program today at school. Our band played for our local vets.
Kids read letters to the vets in their lives, thanking them for service. It was wonderful.

To all the BBs who already know this, you can skip this post.....

While in high school on Kauai, we had someone come and talk to us about the power of positive thinking. They suggested we find a lucky talisman of sorts. Find something that you don't see everyday but do get to see occasionally. A word, phase, image or in my case a number. Then, since it is YOUR lucky item, when you see it, your day will be improved. Along with your attitude, thus making everything else better, etc.

And I chose 11:11 on a digital clock.

Now a lot of my family, some friends and some BB friends see 11:11 (or some form of it) and it makes them think of me.

So I think that is really a win for me!

And 2 years from today will be REALLY special!
