My son learned this difference earlier this semester. Pretty easy if you take a second to think about it.

Andrew is registered on the bored but I'm not sure if he'll post anything. I will refrain from saying anything now but he had a couple of bb's as his PAF's and one would have been perfect on the question he missed. Oh, and it wasn't me. I was unavailable since I was travelling on his tape date.

Aww, I love her. Biases aside, this was well implemented and I look forward to seeing more faces on the show.

Because this show hasn't had enough celebrity faces on it.

This should have been familiar to the contestant since these episodes were taped after August and there was a lot of talk about the health care bill and the August recess.

Raising hand. I was asked to be a PAF, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve. Practices were great, and I really enjoyed getting to know Andrew, a very smart guy and quite nice. I'm hoping he will post some of his side of the experience. Not much to say about my side, except that I got to experience the rush of waiting by the phone for two days. I still enjoyed it! He was in the last group taping before the Tournament, and wasn't used then. The next tape date, he was first out of the gate.

How's the work search going? Or did you find something and I missed the announcement?

Have you ever heard of Golden-Road.net? It's a community not unlike this one, except they're devoted to The Price is Right and are generally much more obsessive and (sometimes) obnoxious about their adoration there. A few people there have terrible reputations for being resistant to change for any reason whatsoever, no matter the backstory or explanation, just because it's something new and they're touching "their" show. They are looked upon by most as ridiculous and being stuck in the past.
Unfortunately, you're starting to veer over into that territory.

Well, a 19th century gh0st has to be stuck in the past, by definition.
Thank you for calling me ridiculous, Chad.

Still searching, unfortunately. Thought I had a very good chance at a local software testing job a week or so ago, but that didn't pan out. (Their loss.) It's tough to avoid getting down, but I know the Lord's got a job for me somewhere. I may not like the timing, but it'll work out OK in the long run.

Great attitude. I'm sure you'll be back paying Uncle Sam taxes soon.

How do Golden-Roaders look upon young punks with the presumtuousness to speak for "most?"

A) Why do people like Kathy Griffin? I see nothing appealing about her in the slightest.
B) I felt bad for Andrew. The question he missed was somewhat oddly worded. I might have even broken my rule about wasting LLs on questions I know the answer to and waste a LL just to gain time.
C) I'm getting caught up on my videotapes. I have the video for Friday's show, so I will try and get the transcripts up later today.

What part of it seemed oddly worded to you" "A measure of"?

Think of yourself in the Hot Seat getting a question like this.
It sets you up to look for something each discipline "measures" differently.
But neither discipline "measures time".
I could see getting flustered by that, and 30 seconds would be difficult to recover from that.
