Good fast show, but I was disturbed that the editing had team pink being snarky. Understandable, with all the hiccups they encountered, but that was all they showed of them.
Grandpa seems like he is not really there alot of the time, but kudos to him for sucking it up at the FF and getting the tat.
I had heard that there were no NEL in this race, but I guess I heard wrong. The SpeedBump sounds nasty. I'm just glad team Pink is still in it, as they are the ones I'm rooting for.
Although Miss Whine wasn't overly played, she's still in there, lurking, waiting to explode on how unfair it all is, and she hates Nate.
Nice touch with the Blackberries. Perfect timing for all of them, to have some support and get their mojos back.
Hopefully there will be disgusting food stops soon. I really like those heh heh heh

I figured there would be a NEL along any time and with only five teams left this was a good week for it. The Goths did have their difficulties, but then again so did TK and Rachel, but they didn't resort to bickering. The idea of the "Speed Bump" intrigues me - it's better than taking all their stuff away or requiring that they come in first for the next leg.
Of the remaining teams, I'd like to seem them finish in this order:
1. The Goths (because they're hometown folks)
2. TK and Rachel (because they've been the most even-tempered team the whole time)
3. Grandpa and grandson
4. Father and daughter (his attitude is never far from the surface)
5. Miss whiney and her (soon-to-be-ex-) boyfriend.

Maybe it was just the pinkies turn to be shown as the Bickersons. Just about everybody else has been except perhaps TK and Rachel. Miss Whiney and Nate were almost civil to one another by comparison. Maybe they have decided to split up and it makes it easier for them to just race.
I recall Phil saying there would be 2 NEL this season and fully expected it this week. The speed bump is yet another effort to find some kind of mechanism to make the NEL have a penalty and would seem to be better than some past options. The penalty in the past for not being first was 30 minutes I think so it depends on how tough it is to do. But at least it is something you might have a bit more control over. Better than having to beg for money in a crowd of poor people. Never did care for that.
Not sure I would have gotten the tatoo myself so can't blame Grandpa too much. But then I don't think I would have tried for the FF had I been in their position. Hard to say without being there.
I guess I never realized what a physical wimp Kynt is. Not only does Vyxen tower over him but she was practically carrying him at a couple of points.
Will have to look at her next to other racers again to see if she is just tall (to go along with a couple of her other prominent assets.) or if he is just on the elvish side. As I recall he is pretty small.
But if I were him I don't think I would want to make her angry. She might break him in two!
Although that might be kinda fun to watch...

I don't know what I would have done when the tattoo option came up.
We (all three of us watch this) did notice that during the 'tradition' choice, the gentleman who was judging said, "NO!" and wagged his finger. All three of us burst out laughing. We had that done to us on more than one occasion while over there. No, I'm not kidding! He sounded just like what we remembered. LOL!
