Tené Howard
Brooklyn, NY

Tené was in the audience a couple of weeks ago with her mother and mother-in-law.
They practically pushed her down the aisle to take the audition test.
When she attended the taping, she hadn’t planned on taking the test, she barely knew that there would be an audition.

That sounds like an explanation for the lifelines. I can hear more grumbles coming from, like Ithaca NY???

Although I wouldn't know from personal experience, I once read an article in the NY Times about how Yo Gabba Gabba! draws a significant number of teenage viewers in the daytime who watch the show while stoned. My roommate's friends, on the other hand, have significant experience and have explained that it's "sorta like LSD, but not."

Is there something you'd like to confess to the bored heels? :D (Other than the frustration from the whole avatar dilemma...)

OK, she's a WE® (Where Else). And I think we should add another WE (Why Else) to the list, because she's another reluctant auditioner.

If she hadn't used her lifelines unnecessarily she might have had one for this question. Given the date it would have to be Florida because New England and the middle colonies weren't settled until the 1600s.

Since the show was preempted for me by a political debate last night <grumble>®, none of you were hearing grumbles over this until just now, when I read the transcript.

I wonder if she even noticed the date or if she automatically thought along the lines of the first English colony and forgot about the Spanish?

The WWTBAM question writers are getting tricksy!

No drugs for me... I just think it's an awesome show. As a matter of fact... today at a stop light, I was behind a van that had it on in their mini TV inside. I was devastated when the light turned green and we turned away. :(

I would've been gone on this question. Even before the choices came up, I thought it was hemoglobin.

Double trouble for me. I thought this was Virginia before the choices came up, but it was really dumb of me to think Virginia. It wasn't until the end of the show that I realized that Virginia wasn't settled until at least 90 years later.

Roanoke Colony was established in 1585, 72 years later.

The first white man to die in America was probably around 1000 anyway.
