I arrived at the Elysie Theatre on West 59th Street to tape my episodes of $20,000 Pyramid. They were broadcast two weeks later on October 27-28.
Rita Moreno and Tony Randall were my celebrity partners.
Although these are considered lost episodes, I do have a tape (now a DVD) and will eventually upload some of it to YouTube.

Holy Crap!
Mine was in 1977 - Summmer, I think - I aired in June.
I started on a Friday show, with Peter Bonerz, then on Monday, Tony Randall and I lost with Elaine Joyce.
Tony Randall was the best!

I have no tape.
My folks had it on Beta and my dad taped over it.

An irony in this was that I waited 27 years to appear on another game show (SuperBAM) and Tony Randall passed away the night my BAM showed was brodcast ...
and he was a great Pyramid player (as was Rita also)

Miss Pea ...
I checked the celebrity lists for Pyramid and it was week 268 (broadcast June 19, 1978 to June 23, 1978) that Loretta Swit and Peter Bonerz were the celebs. The following week 269 (broadcast June 26, 1978 to June 30, 1978) had Elaine Joyce and Tony Randall.
BTW, these episodes are NOT lost. Some collectors have them.

Those were my shows. I can't believe all of that is to found.
I am thinking I would like to find my tapes. That would be very cool.

All these years, I have sworn it was 1977. It wasn't. What is up with that?
