help with movie ending arrrrgh

#1 Post by a1mamacat » Sun Dec 23, 2007 1:31 pm

was watching the most heartwrenching movie called All Mine to Give.

I had just gotten to the scene where the town matriarch was trying to take one of the little girls from her brothers, and my power died.

WHAT HAPPENED!!!!

Sorry, not a clue.

I didn't see this particular version (more than one brother) but I read the original book this movie was based on and in the book
Spoiler
they trick the matriarch to come closer and then push her into a hot oven.

This site has some major spoiler stuff about the film, although I don't know if this is the same version you saw. Scroll down to the second summary on the page.

Silver Rules!!!

That was exactly what I hoped to find. I'm now glad I missed the ending, because I would not have been fit for anything else today. I was already sobbing.

I've put this movie on a list of films I'm not tough enough to see.

My power dies a lot. Oh you mean that power.

I keep saying I'm going to buy one of those emergency generators, but I guess if I do I have to make room in the basement, away from the potential leaky spots. And eventually, their batteries will die too. I need the one you can bicycle-charge. Just in case.
