Some of these newspaper endorsements are very strange. They are endorsing two completely different kinds of candidates for the two different races. I would rather that they take a completely partisan stand if they are gong to make endorsements.
Of course, I'm also a believer that party partisans should make their own party's choices which I know is against the modern "let's get the two best candidates" trend.
