"Duel" tonight (spoilers)

#1 Post by Kazoo65 » Fri Dec 21, 2007 8:18 pm

Tonight's "Duel was really good. Very intense competition.
Spoiler

Longtime BAM fans will recognize the last question they ask on tonight's show-I think it was a high level ($500K-$1M) on PTBAM. It was about the first product advertised in a TV commercial. I knew the answer right away and was screaming it at my TV.

There's still one empty spot on the leaderboard-that will be filled on Sunday night.
I'm just a game show nerd.

The competion may have been intense but the game play was still pretty poor. At least the editing was tightened up which made it more tolerable to watch with minimal assistance from the Tivo. Had they edited as tightly all week maybe everybody gets a shot.

Lots of questions that, from the safety and comfort of the Lazyboy, were easy one chip responses. But the players were throwing chips away like they had no value. A decent trivia player would likely rip most of these cast members a new one if they could just get past the 20 something AP's and the odd contestant selection process.
