That shows some dedication. Let's hope she's rewarded.

For me it was pizza - I wanted to buy "a slice", so on the ferry to the Statue of Liberty I did. It wasn't all I hoped it would be.

$5K- Ardor was the clue for me.

$12.5K- Ask the Audience, although I'm breaking my rule that if I have an inkling, go for it (in my case, it wasn't enough of an inkling). if I've ever seen this album cover...

...I don't remember when it was.

There was a contestant recently who talked about how helpful New Yorkers were in directing him to a good pizza place.

I don't think any of them would have sent you to the ferry for that! :P

I focused on ardor ("burning") first.

But that's the literal translation- burning stomach

I believe that was guillotine. But like him, I thought NYers were unfriendly sorts, and besides, being the shy, retiring type, I'm not the type to approach strangers and ask questions.

We're talking about Million Dollar Password... hence Chad saying "good times", because Phil Keoghan was one of the celebrities in the game he played.
