Those $10K and $12.5K questions were harder than the average $10K and $12.5K questions.

And was the audience playing games with her? I find it hard to believe that 11% of the audience thought "Colon" would be a way you could say "That's my final answer!"

Anyhow, I would have Double Dipped on the $10 K (knew it wasn't parsnip or chicory- would have said jicama first, but rutabaga was just enough of a distractor for me not to go with it), and PAF on the $12.K (I didn't have a friggin' clue on that one).

Rough stack for me to have to burn a PAF that early.

I inferred the correct answer only because I've heard "jicama" pronounced. I'm pretty sure that parsnips are more like carrots and that rutabagas are Scandinavian, but I wouldn't have been sure that the answer wasn't chicory. --Bob

Funny what is hard for some and not others. Some other one I read today or yesterday was brutal and your dream stack. These two questions were quite simple for me.

Jicama just because I know it's Mexican and quite popular around here.

I learned more about the soleus and the gastrocnemius (that is the correct spelling) than I ever wanted to know when I tore them both last year. Just seeing the words make me flinch.

I did not know and was thinking closest to the stomach too so I would have lost as well with the expert LL. ATA would be gone but I doubt helpful if I had it unless they narrow it to two signaling a DD.

$12.5k: 7th-grade science. I thought "gastrocnemius" would be a giveaway since that muscle is touted as an important focus center in workouts.

Going for $15k with all lifelines.

Not enough for me to risk it.

As I said earlier- tough to have to spend a PAF that early- but on this question, I would have realized PAF would be more reliable than ATE.

I thought the wording on the punctuation question and the movie title question were both very odd!

And then the muscle question seemed really obscure. It seems like the writers went out of their way to make this stack more difficult than many of the recent ones!
