Reminder: Gus hunt next week

#1 Post by mrkelley23 » Thu Dec 20, 2007 11:44 am

Prolly Wednesday or Thursday, given the Christmas falloff. But we ought to hit 23000 easily today, so watch out!

And congrats to lb (or whover the BBBtMM was) for getting 22222. I'd forgotten about the repeaters!

Someone will have to do my lifting for me.

I will be on the way home from Richmond on Wednesday.

I have off work on Monday and Tuesday, so that's plenty of time for me to participate in the gus hunt.

I got the repeater. So I'd like to repeat my dedication, and say this one is for the memory of that great, selfless martyr, Squashed Hamster.

Nice pic, eh?

Uh...... aren't martyrs supposed to die first? Wait a minute, you said "for the memory of...", I'm not dead I tell you! _TPTB_ and Sonny haven't found me in Minot yet! If you want to honor me, send me a space heater up here....

Cool!

I don't know if I can help today. I have to package the 12 dozen cookies that I just made, then go volunteer in Em's class.

I have to be at work on Monday but the courthouse will be closed.

Maybe I'll just set a MCP record and bag it on Monday.
No matter where you go, there you are.

I like the way you think.

Just play it coy and make sure you look out for those hiding in the bushes, waiting to jump on it when you get close.

I'm not hiding, I live in those bushes.

Bumping it up to remind people.

I'd have been a lot closer if I'd had a pool for this one.

We're getting to be fairly predictable, posting-rate-wise.

Since there are only 124 posts to go, I think that it will happen today.

I am not a fan of being predictable.

I will venture to impact that.

Park your cursor over the "quote" button. The number of that message appears in the URL at the bottom of the page.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Bring up the last post on the bored.

Put your cursor over the 'quote' thingie.

Look down on the bottom left of your screen.

You will see it down there after some other words.

I'm still trying to figure out mrk's avatar. Must be the Dread Pirate Roberta, where the main danger is from standing next to her when she turns abruptly.

Then there's Fanny's avatar, with the, er, fannies.

The second one was that.

The first one was 2 less than that.

I think.

It was taken outside a pirate museum in Key West.

It's one of my faves from the vacation, mostly because of the two personalities involved.

My youngest doesn't look TOO uncomfortable, does he?
