ROLL CALL!

#1 Post by littlebeast13 » Thu Dec 20, 2007 2:25 am

I did this last year, I believe a year ago today, after seeing a similar thread in the GC to see who was all still lurking out there....

So if you're reading this thread, whether you post everyday or hardly ever, please take time to leave a reply, even if it's just a simple hello. I know things are a bit different this year since the Memberlist basically lists who is all "here" and we're not likely to see any surprises like last year, but we have a lot of BB's who have registered but have made few or no posts in this Bored's 2 and a half month life.

So, let your presence be known during this, *cough* (ahem), most wonderful time of the year! I will leave this as a Sticky until after New Years....

Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Hi. I'm Gordon, and I'm a trivia addict.

(not an attempt at a self-cure, just a statement of fact)
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

. . . and I was looking for 1614 Sprague Street, not 1416 Sprague Street. So, that is how I meet Chris Hansen of Dateline.
