Crazier things have happened.

Did you hear Will Smith is making a new movie, where he's a novice professional wrestler? It's called I Am Bludgeoned.

O.K. I'm here, obviously. I tend to ignore the sticky things so I didn't see it.

Then I saw Tocq and she had a bunch of posts here. But I couldn't find here. Until now.

present and accounted for.

school story of the day:

teacher asked the students to make small decorations for the tree in their room and put a wish for the future on it. Some really sweet gingerbread shaped wishes, couple of stars, a few candycanes and one very large p*nis...

I just found this thread, given that it is stickied and glued up among the quizzes for which I have no answers (or which Annie won't let me play.) I'm not really here. I'm really at the Post Office, standing in line six people behind a lady who can't figure out how to insert her credit card properly in the postage-dispensing machine. I suspect it would work better if she weren't using her Sam's Club card.

If she annoys me much longer, I shall start Irish dancing. That should clear out the place pretty fast.

I've pulled a bit of a disappearing act lately, but I'm still here.

I'm here! I come here every day, because I like it here.

Thank you all for being such nice friends. I send every one of you warm snuggles and wet kisses, unless you'd rather not have the kisses.

C'est moi.

"Moi."

No, no, c'est moi!

"Moi!"

No, it's c'est moi!

"MOI, UNCLE MIKE, MOI!"

(The preceding is a conversation I had with my then-4-year-old niece a number of years ago. It took four iterations before I realized that, to a 4-year-old, "c'est moi" sounds an awful lot like "say 'moi'".)
There is something wrong in a government where they who do the most have the least. There is something wrong when honesty wears a rag, and rascality a robe; when the loving, the tender, eat a crust while the infamous sit at banquets.

I am here. I have been pretty sick all week & just been here sporadically, not always up to posting.

I found out today I might have the mumps, of all the stupid things to get at my age. Since I never had them when I was little, & they don't always want to vaccinate adults, it's possible :(

No baby yet! I'm hoping Karen keeps him in for a couple more days until I can be there, since obviously right now I'd have to steer clear.

Still here.

We're six days overdue, so hopefully very soon I won't be here nearly as much.
