On the Tonight Show, Ross the Intern does a long feature on the OU-Texas game, played last weekend in Dallas. He talks briefly with the RufNek Queen, who rides on the Sooner Schooner, the miniature Conestoga wagon pulled by white ponies.
Millionaire trivia follows: What former Who Wants To Be a Millionaire contestant, now living in Tulsa, also served as RufNek Queen during her own student days at OU?
It's not blackmail if I don't demand hush money.

Jay just started the monlogue here -- Ross will be on in about five minutes.
Now that SC's recommended it, I'll be sure to watch.

That is highly likely.
Of course, I can't confirm that, because she probably would blush if she knew everyone knew for sure.
Plus, she may come up with something on me in the future.

Does she still have her tiara?

That was good! Lots of energy and very funny. Some of them drag a bit.

Oh, okay -- yeah, it was me. In 1972 I was the youngest-ever Ruf-Nek Queen. I was um, four at the time. Yeah, that's the ticket! I was four!
No, I don't still have the tiara, as Darling Daughter loved to play dress up and it went the way of all much-loved playthings. I do have the paddle, though, and we perch it on the television while watching Sooner football.
Now I need to start scouring old yearbooks for stuff on SC.
