QOD Wednesday 12-19 "FIRST WORDS"

Today you've got the first line of a book. You only have to give the title, but if you kick in the author you'll get an extra fiver for your troubles. You need the exact title on these rather than on the finish the poem where I gave some leeway as long as you had the main gist. This isn't because I put in some book with a crazy parenthetical title or anything. In fact, these titles would be kind of hard to mess up if you know them. I chose pretty clear cut and direct ones, I guess because lines have to pretty be simple if you remember them (two of these I looked up).

Caro (KT) has had at least two occasions when he had to kick his own ass because he didn't read the directions. As someone who has done that as well, I put in the reminder since there was added points in the main section again. I also thought it would jog other people to go back and read them again, if only to see wtf I was talking about.

Well, I did go four days (I think) without a mistake, so I had to get my average back up. Ha! Extra points are great - however it didn't do me any good because I didn't know one of the #2s. Still in all, you're doing a great job with a tough task, fannie, so don't get discouraged.
