How do you feel?

When you get a great gift for someone? To be honest...I get more out of giving a gift than receiving one! I think that I must be channeling Santa Claus or Hanukkah Harry!

Ah, yes, a Red Ryder BB Gun!
A gift doesn't have to be expensive or "special" to be a true gift. I think of the person...then get a gift that I know that person would like.
I have bought a book for my sister in-law for Christmas, that was signed by the author along with a personal message.
I can't wait til she gets in via UPS! I will be there too!

My first, flippant answer was, "With my fingers."
Having read the post, I have a different answer. There are times that I just know that I've hit on the perfect gift for elwing. Nothing beats that sense of satisfaction.

It is a better feeling than when someone gets me the perfect gift.
Not by much, but a better feeling none the less.

I hate getting gifts.
I love giving gifts.
I suspect that there will be some excited yelling by kids at my in-laws house when gifts are opened.
(We already "opened" our main gift to each other, as it was a new bedroom set that was delivered in late October and early November.)

Hate getting gifts?
Really?
Why?

There are few holiday experiences than knowing that you got an absolutely perfect gift for someone.
