The Port of Corpus Christi Authority is currently accepting bids for the SURPLUS SALE OF THE TULE LAKE LIFT BRIDGE. The Tule Lake Lift Bridge is a steel truss type lift bridge built in 1960 with a 344-foot long by 46-foot wide center span. It has a maximum lifting height of 138 feet. This bridge has been closed for operations since September 2007. The bridge is being sold “AS IS/WHERE IS.”
Bids will be publicly opened at 2:00 p.m., December 20, 2007.
