as a pointy stick.
What a great idea.
What a great idea.
Assuming that you're speaking of me (because I'm vain/self-centered/paranoid like that), it's not meant to be a pointy stick.peacock2121 wrote:as a pointy stick.

As long as you use afantine33 wrote:I originally had "Suck it, HoltDad" as my location so it would show under the avatar. Now that was probably a little pointy, so I took it out. Ha!
In this case, I meant a pointy stick like what you poke a dead animal with to see if he is really dead or not.fantine33 wrote:Assuming that you're speaking of me (because I'm vain/self-centered/paranoid like that), it's not meant to be a pointy stick.peacock2121 wrote:as a pointy stick.

At least, not what I'd call one. To me, a pointy stick is an unprovoked attack that's entirely uncalled for. Since my first hand knowledge and attestations obviously weren't good enough, I just went to the source. The avatar was the easiest way to do so and, I'll admit, I thought it would give people a chuckle.

you can write anything you want.
Ha, that makes me laugh! I have a visual of some guy curled into a fetal position along a highway in Nebraska, clutching a computer mouse to his chest.peacock2121 wrote:In this case, I meant a pointy stick like what you poke a dead animal with to see if he is really dead or not.
The location woulda been an interesting touch.
Similiar to the one I had when I typed it. He was crying in mine, though.fantine33 wrote:Ha, that makes me laugh! Right now you're using your stick to beat a dead horse.peacock2121 wrote:Similiar to the one I had when I typed it. He was crying in mine, though.fantine33 wrote:Ha, that makes me laugh! Keep the stick out and he will come back to this.
He will.
He can't help it.
Yes, sticks can be used for that as well.Bob Juch wrote:Right now you're using your stick to beat a dead horse.peacock2121 wrote:Similiar to the one I had when I typed it. I'm not sure who you are referencing here, as you responded to peacock's last post, but she was talking about my stick. Probably both of us. If so,Bob Juch wrote:Right now you're using your stick to beat a dead horse.
Pea was using her pointy stick to beat your dead horse.fantine33 wrote:I'm not sure who you are referencing here, as you responded to peacock's last post, but she was talking about my stick. Probably both of us. If so,Bob Juch wrote:Right now you're using your stick to beat a dead horse.
I had already pointed out that it's not a stick, just an answer.
But I can totally understand why you would feel that way, because I can't imagine that you would ever correct someone.

Apparently, you were right, I was wrong. There is no need to further debate the issue.

Anyway, Merry Christmas, Fanny and Pea.

Would you like a public flogging now?
A stoning perhaps?
