Assuming that you're speaking of me (because I'm vain/self-centered/paranoid like that), it's not meant to be a pointy stick.

At least, not what I'd call one. To me, a pointy stick is an unprovoked attack that's entirely uncalled for. Since my first hand knowledge and attestations obviously weren't good enough, I just went to the source. The avatar was the easiest way to do so and, I'll admit, I thought it would give people a chuckle.

I originally had "Suck it, HoltDad" as my location so it would show under the avatar. Now that was probably a little pointy, so I took it out. Ha!

In this case, I meant a pointy stick like what you poke a dead animal with to see if he is really dead or not.

The location woulda been an interesting touch.

Ha, that makes me laugh! I have a visual of some guy curled into a fetal position along a highway in Nebraska, clutching a computer mouse to his chest.

I don't really expect him to respond further, unless he's a bigger fool than I thought (entirely possible). And I'd rather he didn't. Unless it's to say he's sorry for being a total wad (pretty much not possible).

:D :) :o

(Damn, I hate emoticons)

Similiar to the one I had when I typed it. He was crying in mine, though.

Keep the stick out and he will come back to this.

He will.

He can't help it.

Right now you're using your stick to beat a dead horse.

Yes, sticks can be used for that as well.

I'm not sure who you are referencing here, as you responded to peacock's last post, but she was talking about my stick. Probably both of us. If so,

I had already pointed out that it's not a stick, just an answer.

But I can totally understand why you would feel that way, because I can't imagine that you would ever correct someone.

I feel the need to stop the brutal carnage being inflcited on that poor horse.

Apparently, you were right, I was wrong. There is no need to further debate the issue.

Mea culpa! Mea culpa! Mea culpa!

Would you like a public flogging now?

A stoning perhaps?

Anyway, Merry Christmas, Fanny and Pea.
