WWTBAM Bored

When I moved into my own place 2 months ago, one of my co-workers was kind enough to donate a lot of her old furniture out of her garage (Including the table my laptop is currently sitting on and the chair I am sitting in), which was an enormous help since I was starting almost totally from scratch. What I didn't realize apparently, which she made me aware of last night, was that part of the deal in me getting her old stuff for free was that I also take her gigantic ping pong table off her hands as well. She had tried to give it to me both times I was over there to load up stuff back in May, but there was no room in my friend's truck, and it wasn't exactly something I really wanted, so I never went back to get it and forgot about it. Well, we were gonna pick it up this morning, but since we get off work so early on Wednesday mornings now, my friend's gonna pick me up tomorrow morning to go out and get it....

It'll probably just sit in my garage since I have no room for it in the house, and it's pretty hard to play ping pong by yourself (I don't think ES is a very good playing partner). I may see if Sister #1 has room for it since her boys would probably love it, but if not, and I can't find someone else to pawn it off on, I'll just keep it around since..... well, I've never had a ping pong table before....

Note: Before 43718733 chime in and tell me to use Freecycle, I'm not THAT interested in getting rid of it..... unless it becomes more of an albatross than I think it will.....

So if anyone wants to come over and play a little ping pong after today..... feel free.... or if Hooly drops by, I can always turn it into a beer pong table.......

For goodness sakes, go see your sister's new home. She would love for you to

Never too late to develop a new image of a sweet, helpful, loving brother. Now is as
good as any time to try it out. Take your nephews to a Cardinals game with you some
time. Try it, you might like it.

good as any time to try it out. Take your nephews to a Cardinals game with you some
time. Try it, you might like it.

I took one of them to a game 3 years ago, and it happened to be the day the LBN overheated on the highway (This was before I had the cellphone I never bring with me anyway).....

It was also memorable for being Seat Cushion Night II (Only I got a seat cushion since they weren't given to the kids, so I let him keep it and told him to hang onto it since it was a part of Cardinals history.... my Grandma & Grandpa still have the seat cushion from the original seat cushion game in 1987)...

Me and my Dad also took them both to Kansas City that August to see a doubleheader.....

I can be nice you know.....

I think she's moved about 4 or 5 times in the last few years..... including twice into the same house (after she got tired of renting it out the first time), so not sure how many chances you get at housewarming....

But its hers if she wants it..... I never said I wouldn't give it to her....

I just didn't keep my bottle of Electric Youth. I do have my hair crimper though, maybe we could all arrange an 80's swap session...

I can probably still get the EY from Sister #4, though I have no use for a hair crimper. I have heard there are some cool concert pics from that era I might be interested in though......

If you took up a hobby, you would find a big table very helpful.

I don't think it will help with your squirrel watching hobby though.

But if you wanted to take up quilting it would be very useful!



Or maybe you could get one of those 100,000 piece jigsaw puzzles and start putting it together.
