A shame about that sewer/bakery thing but c'mon people, that 8K just isn't that hard.

I can sort of understand burning the ATA at 4K. If you don't know it you don't know it I suppose. But his answer on the 8K didn't make a lot of sense, even if he had never heard of it before.

FOX has been promoting the heck out of the upcoming movie - the chipmunks were used in show promos for AYSTA5G and DFTL last night.

In our earlier years elwing and tried that soap idea but it never seemed to work quite right .

Didn't Mark hear "underground" in the question? Or did he just answer too quickly and not think it through?

Again, a nihil obstat® stack thus far.

I don't think the quaint and obsolete scientific theories of Aristotle are all that well know. This reads more like one of those first tier questions where they're asking something really obscure but the answer is obvious from the choices. In this case, I think Mark got tripped up by the obvious distractor--winds (from) underground caves must be hurricanes, right? He didn't take long enough to notice 1) that the question said the winds were trapped in underground caves, so that "underground" became the critical clue, and 2) that hurricanes are not a phenomenon that occurs in the Mediterranean.

How ironic that a question about the Chipmunks comes up the day before the movie comes out.

I would have used 50/50 on the $8K. I was distracted by avalanches. Otherwise, fine.

8K: Earthquakes "makes most sense", but could be avalanches; who knows? I don't know for sure, as in "I haven't read Aristotle or his commentors directly on this", so would waste 50/50.
