Is there any way to find out about auditions for this? (what a great Christmas gift that would be... an audition!)

Which kid? A television show? A broadway play?

My ESP tuner is out of whack.

The next Kid on Kid Nation II, do you mean?

I can find you the link to the application form, if so.

I have too much invested in braces to allow my kids to go.

Yeah, yeah.

The west would have never been settled if kids had had braces back then. :P

Chapin (the middle one) would kill or die to be on Kid Nation, now that he's seen one.

He'd be a good one, too. Didn't inherit his Dad's work ethic (or lack thereof)....

In that case, here's the link to the application form--all 20 pages of it!

Unfortunately it appears that the deadline for this was October 9. Maybe if he starts working on this now, he'll have it ready for Kid Nation III.

Make sure he's got his passport!

OOPS,, yes, you guys decoded that message correctly (Thanks!)

LOL about braces.

My Kid would be great on Kid Nation... she argues profusely about anything she believes in, is as rebellious as they come (for a 10 yr old), she even wears a bandana on her head to school.

She walked off the 'shoot' for our Christmas card picture, and I had to bribe her with cancellation of her soccer footskills clinic if she didnt get up off the couch and change into the outfit.

Thanks for the app, Marley.!

It wouldn't be settled by my kids. :)

I never had braces, I never realized how much work they are. There are all sorts of little special brushes that Maddie asks me to buy and then she keeps popping brackes and we have another trip to the orthodontist.

At least she is taking care of them.

She sounds like Emma. I would be careful having this type of child on a reality program. She might be edited unfairly by somebody who doesn't understand her.

You're welcome, Moonie.

How about a reply in the Kid Nation thread, if you watched it, then? 8)

I got my braces as an adult. During one emergency visit to the orthodontist for a bracket replacement, the assistant told me that 10% of their patients pop off 90% of the brackets that have to be replaced. Mrs. Rexer just got her braces off yesterday. She popped nary a one.

I was in the 10%.
