I admire our President for his interaction with that young girl, for his willingness to be vulnerable and his intent to support someone else in kicking an addiction.
I also like his phrasing "competes with your affection".

What young girl?
The President has a history of alcoholism and I know that he can relate to those who are dealing with similar issues. He may not be the best "leader of the free world" but he is a compassionate man one-on-one.
