Rain, rain, go away...

Evidently our neighborhood had a brief power outage overnight because when I woke up, the alarm clock was flashing "12:00", "12:00", "12:00" and it was really 6AM. So I had to shift into high gear from the start to get to work and I was still half an hour late. I hate when that happens because it means I'll be on edge the whole day.

Just got word from elwing that the power went out again - she had to get dressed in the dark. The whole block is out, as far as she could tell. No explanation for it - there have been no strong winds or ice to knock down the lines.
