Weird WWTBAM MB Thing

#1 Post by Bixby17 » Thu Oct 11, 2007 10:32 am

Okay, in the last thread, I thanked tubadave for answering my question and hit submit. That question was on the previous page and now is on this one.

And but as soon as I hit submit, the MB gave me an error message, and then tons of IE windows started opening of the WWTBAM MB,

One every second. Going so fast I couldn't shut them off of even doing the three fingered salute to reboot. I had to just the computer off using the off button.

There were probably 20 IE screens of the WWTBAM opening all at once.

I am going to hit submit and hope that doesn't happen to again, but what's up with that?

Okay, the previous message went up okay with no error message.

In case you were wondering. :)

You seem to be able to do things with computers that no one else can do! :P

You might want to run your virus scan and double check with MS security Center that it's turned on.

Im currently losing what little hair I have left trying to clean my parents' computer of a nasty set of viruses, and one of them did something like what you're describing.

Ideas:

1. Your computer has been sleeping around with other computers without using protection.

2. phpBB code acts weird on occasion, and you were just lucky.

3. User error.

I vote 2. Because I saw a weird error code before the spawning of the IE windows.
