Of course, I'm not under suspision for murder, but I could use a few thousand extra bucks...

Could you give Drew a few bucks?

As my older daughter would say, "what a tard."

When I think of the name, Drew, I think of the host of "The Price Is Right."

In the words of the inimitable Bugs Bunny: "What a maroon!"

"Drew Peterson says a Web site established to raise money for his legal defense will be a test of the American people's generosity."

More like one of their credulity. Like we say in the quality business, once is an accident, twice is a trend.

I hope that the site costs more than he receives.

Stranger things have happened. There was a story a couple years ago about people begging for money online and getting it. So Peterson may do the same thing.

If people can still fall for those e-mail scams and send off their money hoping to get millions, I can believe nearly anything about the credulity of the general populace.

One of the morning shows last week (I forget which one) had a story about an ad placed in a NYC newspaper by a couple asking for donations so they could buy a million dollar upper west side apartment they couldn't afford.

I think they were more or less asking for one or two really rich people to just give it to them, rather than have the money trickle in a little at a time.

How'd that work out for them?

I haven't seen a follow up. I'll try to check on that for you.

Keeping track of those little $5 and $10 donations can be so tedious!

Even if I was, am I not lovable enough (on this bored) where people might overlook some minor flaws?

Let's think about this another way...if you knew someone only from what they post online, and you find out they've got a web site where they're groveling for money, would you give them something?

And just FTR, I've only been married once, and that lady is still living.

I'd probably give them grief. That's what I'm famous for! :P

Real answer: I dunno. Depends on too many factors. Right now, I'm saving up for the kidney transplant I know beast is going to need if he doesn't knock it off with the Pepsi addiction....

(J/K, beast. You lose your kidneys, you're on your own! :P )

Sorry, lb, I can't help you either. I promised my mom one of mine if her remaining one goes out...
But I'll drink a Pepsi in honor of the event.

My husband lost one when he was 8. He has to take care of the remaining one. Luckily, he has 4 siblings in case anything goes wrong...

My mom had a tumor. What happened to your husband?
