Trebek Heart Attack

I just heard on CNN Headline news that Alex Trebek has had a heart attack and is in the hospital. Early word is that it was minor and he is expected to be back taping Jeopardy in January.

Hmm, how old is Alex anyway? I know he's getting up there in years-what with the white hair and glasses.
I wonder if this will make him consider retirement sooner rather than later (maybe after next season, which is number 25 for J! in its' current incarnation).
I'm glad he's gonna be OK.

Am I the only one wondering about the clause in the JEOPARDY! rules that only allows a contestant to appear one time with Alex Trebek as host?

Yes, but not for the same reason.

Oh, I'm sorry, 'heart attack' wasn't specific enough, we were looking for "myocardial infarction."
