RIP Charles Griffith

Mr. Griffith wrote the screenplay for "The Little Shop of Horrors," the 1960 film directed by Roger Corman which inspired the 1982 Off-Broadway musical of roughly the same name. Mr. Griffith also contributed to the screenplay for the movie adaptation of the musical.
The 1960 original was shot in about two days. Mr. Griffith had several small parts in that film, including the voice of the carnivorous plant, Audrey Jr ("Feed me!").
He was 77.
