Andy really comes alive as the world's greatest dancer at weddings. He may not have the technical moves but he has the spirit. Give him a tux and some Earth, Wind and Fire. If he wins $25K he and Shaun will dance. Andy's wife Colleen is in the relationship seat. Shaun asks Colleen if he dances as well as he says; she hesitates and finally says that he's the life of the party.

What, what, what? Was this guy alive in the 20th century? Did he ever go to school? Did he ever read a book? Does he have any excuse at all?

This was a very easy question. I can't believe this guy took a blind guess leaving 3 lifelines left on the table.

Not really! Pennies are now mostly zinc. Why use copper instead of zinc in nickles?

OK, now I confess to being a WWII trivia geek, but is this question all that hard for the average person? I mean, 25% said Vienna and 44% overall said something other than the right answer.

"Despite their silvery appearance" should have been a dead giveway - all three of the other answers are "silvery" metals.

Nihil obstat®.

I don't understand why this is wrong-- copper IS the correct answer. US nickels are 75% copper, 25% nickel (the copper is in their to soften the alloy; nickel is very hard, and pure nickel coins would mess up the dies).

Methinks the transcriber failed to include Andy's answer, which was A - tin.

Not sure that makes it any better for the cast member.

Wait, let me reconsider whether I am sure!

Yep, I am sure it definitely doesn't make it any better for the cast member.

Nope. Modern Canadian coins from 5c to 50c are nickel plated steel.

To my knowledge, tin, iron and zinc could all be described as "silvery." Not so with copper. And it's spelled "nickel."

Maybe the contestant is one of those conspiracy theorists who think Adolf escaped to a retirement in South America?
