As a note: Sorry for the lateness, I had to leave early this morning and, what with travel time and all, barely got home in time to set my fantasy lineup.
For those who read my sad tale in the Vh1 thread, you can blame Mother Nature for this one. Since I had to stay home and watch the game on tv, I spent the time finishing up a basketball QOD. Ha!
WHERE SHORT SHORTS HAPPENED
1. After the breakup of the Soviet Union, this band gave financial help to the 1992 Lithuanian basketball team so they could participate in the Olympics. The team won the bronze medal and honoured their sponsor with their uniforms. What is the name of this band?

I may not know many answers today. Home School High School didn't have a basketball team. Or, if they did, my mom never drove me to a game. But, I will try, because that's the kind of girl I am.
1. The Grateful Dead, maybe? I remember seeing pictures of the tie-dyed shirts.
2. The Boston Celtics? (I did look up Mr. Larry Bird after yesterday's questions, but I don't remember seeing anything about Mr. Chris.)
3. Mr. Larry Bird. (He's the best NBA player I ever looked up.)
4. I do not know. I don't have a guess. I only know that Mr. Akeem's daughter Abi plays for the university in my town.
