When I saw Michael on the show today, I did a double take; I was sure I'd seen him on the show before! Then I remembered that he was the carryover contestant on the first episode I saw taped back in October. It's been a long time! (Hasn't it, clem?)

And now we have to wait a couple weeks for the rest of the story...

I thought Eddington was the first person on that day. So his first episode must be May 15th, although he said in an earlier post that he had reason to believe it wasn't that day. Do you remember the order, Marley? Was there a guy from Texas on before Michael Roslin?

Uhhhh, I remember Eddington taped that day. I think Michael was first, but I wasn't taking notes. I know we got the explanation of how he'd been on the show before--and by the time the next two weeks of special editions have aired, the home audience should understand that, as well.

Yes, just down the coast from Sandy Hook, across Raritan Bay from Staten Island.

And I noticed I made a typo in his town name. That should be Monmouth Beach.

OK, first off Michael went first because Sam and I went to makeup together after Michael had already gone down to the set. Also fun tidbit: Michael spent the night before taping in Chicago and took a 4 AM flight in somehow. I told him he was crazy. He was.

Sheesh!

Missing the taping because of a flight delay would be bad enough. But showing up in time and then suffering from exhaustion is even worse. You get one shot at the Hot Seat. If you're lucky.

He was completely conked out on the couches for most of the first day. But then Bill wanted to lie down. Bill is huge. Michael is tall. No more couch room after that...
