In her mind Jen has already spent the money. She wants to take her husband on a honeymoon and also expand her family, but to do so she would need to complete portions of her house so the child would have a room. Meredith asks her if it's easier or harder than she thought. Jen replies that it was easy at first but then "there's always that question that stumps you" and she had to use a few lifelines (she used three on the $25K question).

$50K - To a winemaker, a "bung" is a what?
A - stem
B - cork
C - grape
D - bottle

Jen thinks she's heard this but she isn't sure, so she wants to phone a friend. The clock stops with 34 seconds remaining. On Jen's PAF list are: her neighbor, Frank, from New Prague, MN, an ER doctor; her friend Pete, from Phoenix, AZ; and her former college roommate Kimberly, from Chicago, IL. She elects to call Kimberly.
PAF dialog
Meredith allows Jen to tell Kimberly how much money she's going for. Jen reads the question and four choices. Kimberly repeats the four choices. She doesn't think it's a cork and asks, "Did you say seal?" Jen reads all four choices again and Kimberly says, "I think it's cork because they use it as a seal." Kimberly doesn't indicate how sure she is. Jen said she should have called her sister because she's a winemaker.
Meredith asks Jen what she thinks it is; she's torn between "cork" and "bottle".
Spoiler
B - cork (14)
$100K - Often compared to the Champs-Elysees, what European city has a prominent avenue referred to by locals as "The Ku'Damm"?
A - Amsterdam
B - Prague
C - Vienna
D - Berlin

Jen says it would be funny if it were Prague since they live in New Prague. She ponders the answers but finally says that she's not sure and doesn't want to drop back down, so with 13 seconds remaining she decides to walk away.
Spoiler
C. Berlin

Thank you Robert Heinlein. When I was much younger I read something by him in which he suggested that the best way to raise a child was to stick him in a wine barrel and feed him through the bung hole, then when he or she turned fifteen, put the bung back.

My first instinct was correct, but when I saw the other "Germanic" names I started to doubt. Since I have three lifelines left, I'll use one. Google PAF please.
