This was a nihil obstat* stack for me.

The next category, "New York Nicknames" migh be about anything relating to New York-the city, sports figures, politicians, etc. Lifeline time for me.

He's Mitchell Szczepanczyk. I've met him at several Game Show Congress events. Didn't he used to post on this Bored a few years back?

As Meredith pointed out, "freelance" is a way of saying part-time.

She thought she knew it but wanted to ATA anyway. She will probably end up rueing that decision.

Well, the string of correct answers from the quiz bowl experts is broken. My first thought was 24, but when I saw 28, I started questioning myself. I don't know whether I'd use a lifeline or go with my original hunch.

No problem to the $25K question. You'd think I would know that one, considering my recent accident. Nope. I only know of three. Wouldn't trust the audience, so probably use my science/biology backup PAF. OTOH, the ATA is usually useless beyond this level, so I might give them a shot first.
