Hey Toq

Some big games going on this weekend down at The Box. Do you follow Tiger baseball? We got lucky last night (7-4) but know how difficult it is to win there. BTW- Our paper is saying that the game today will be televised on Fox Sports South at 3 PM if you see this in time to tune in. Have a great day.

Well, nothing like running your mouth to jinx your team. Toq, in case you missed it, the Tigahs took the next two games to win the series. 6-5 in game two with us having a man on third in the last inning but not scoring. 2-1 in game three after LSU scored 2 in the eighth to take the lead. Again, we had a guy on third in the last inning and could not score. Congratulations on winning the series. It was hard fought the entire weekend.

How did I miss this? D'oh!

I am not really a big baseball fan. I kinda follow the Tigers but not very closely. David doesn't really like baseball either. He'll watch them if they're on tv but we don't go to games. David would much rather go to football games.

My parents, on the other hand, are HUGE LSU baseball fans. They have season tix and my Dad takes off work during baseball season to go to the Friday night games. He and my mom were there for the opening of the new Alex Box stadium and my dad hasn't stopped talking about it. We can't have a conversation without him talking about LSU baseball in some sort of way. He and mom have been to the CWS to see LSU play five times('91, '93, 96', 97 and '00). If they get in this year, they'll be there again.

Ole Miss has a pretty good team, from what I understand. A good friend of ours is a big fan.
