I got the biggest laugh of the week yesterday when Lady G and I went to a Chinese restaurant for dinner. After the meal they brought us the typical fortune cookies and when I opened mine, here's what it said:
Is this prophesy or what? I certainly hope so. Maybe there is something to those fortune cookies.

Yeah, but what if it's the lottery numbers which are in your future?
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

At the very least, Sir G will now be able to scream in Chinese.....

That's when the US defaults on its Chinese loan and I have to learn Chinese along with all the Oregonians.

I opened up one of those things one time after the waitress badgered me to do it. There was nothing inside.
I should have known.

The waitress
badgered you?
Was there the same thing in her tip folder as there was in the fortune cookie?
Push it real good!

I would urge you to keep it securely. The Tuesday before I flew to sit in the RoF, I ate at a Chinese restaurant, and got the fortune "You will take a journey, and return with a great fortune." I was sure I was going to win the $2.16 million. Alas, I lost the fortune somewhere between the restaurant and the airport, so the fortune wasn't fulfilled. I am convinced that losing that fortune, and having slow fingers, are the only things that kept me from getting in the HS.
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!
That'll be $10, please.

I still have my all-time favorite, which sums up my world:
Fortune Not Found:
Abort, Retry, Ignore?
Lucky Numbers 10, 22, 38, 49, 5, 47
I've ignored them, but maybe I should retry them....
Knowing a great deal is not the same as being smart; intelligence is not information alone but also judgment, the manner in which information is collected and used.
