I own one.

Bought it yesterday.

2001 EZ-Go.

It is now sitting in my soon to be golf cart garage.

Our new house has a baby garage just for the cart.

You'll need more than one when you host your first GoLo. :D

Okay, NOW I'm jealous!!! I need to live somewhere where having a golf cart is not only feasible...but cool! (I somehow don't think trying to drive a golf cart in 8 inches of snow and ice is realistic)

So it's an Ezzy and not a Jazzy?

Be careful, ES might borrow it to go to CO.

It's the "in" thing to own a golf cart around here....not for golfing...just for getting from point a to
point b. I had someone submit a claim last week where his five year old was driving the golf cart
and hit his friend's car!! We dint pay it. What is wrong with people?!!?!?

The hey word "hit" makes a big difference in that sentence!

Is there a different driving age for the golf carts? Or do you have to have a regular license to drive one? Not that I think it would be okay for a 5 year old...but maybe a 13 or 14 year old could handle it? I can't believe someone would let a 5 year old do that.

I see some of these around the beach and on the roads:

But they have license plates.

They use those things to pick up trash at the homes where people are unable to pull the 3 ton
carts to the road. I would think if it's licensed to drive on the road, you would have to be licensed
to drive it, but I dunno about that.

The golf carts aren't licensed for road use and are actually illegal to drive on the road here, but people
do it anyway. Stupid, if you want my opinion, and you see kids of all ages driving them.

Gas or electric?

Am I correct in that you will be using this cart more for "neighborhood" stuff rather than golf?

We had a scofflaw couple visiting for the summer a few years ago who thought it was OK to drive their unlicensed golf cart from their vacation home to the grocery store, etc. I saw them one time with their grandson on the little bench seat in the back! I've rarely seen anything so unsafe. The cops finally got enough calls that they were able to ticket them and make them stop.

It might be a bit too big for him. Plus, he'd have to find a little squirrel helmet....

ES needs something more durable than that to keep his brains from scrambling.....

He may have to get out his Tommy Trojan helmet he wore in HSoB's picture.....
