That's what happens to Smug Peoples. . .

I was so happy that we were not getting all the crummy weather that you on the east coast had this winter - well, guess what, March 27th and we are getting plowed. Maybe as much as 10 inches. Somewhat strange considering my flowering almond, forsythia, daffodills, tulips, hyacinths are blooming and the lilac was a week away from bursting forth. The red bud trees are abloom also, along with the bradford pears, going to look weird with 10 inches of snow on top of them. There is a bright side however, we desperately need the moisture.

I was not feeling smug about my basketball picks, said to hubby from the get go, strange year, anything could happen. After last night, I can now root for who I want. Still don't think my hawks will have much of a chance against Michigan. They are a young team and you'all just wait till next year. Would love to see OU stomp the stuffing out of Missouz in the championship game, Blake Griffin deserves it, heck of a player and a top notch young man besides. His brother Taylor's a great young man also, plus a few others on that team. Not to say there are not some great young men on the tiger's team, just the KU/Missouz rivalry thing we have going. We have one with OU also, just not quite so much,
