More rain this morning, but fortunately no wind to blow it. Evidently we are in a holding pattern for showers - they're expected tomorrow and Saturday as well.
elwing checked with the state unemployment office and got the right answer to her question about her benefits, so she called and took the job in Ketchikan. Now all she has to do is get her driving record from all the states in which she's been licensed - which may be difficult because Oklahoma doesn't keep records from that long ago (30 years). She'll take those with her and apply for her Commercial Drivers' License when she gets to Alaska.

Snowing here -- very pretty. I'm just glad it's March. I heard there's supposed to be a foot in Denver. I got out of town just in time. I had no bad weather on my whole trip; just a little rain the first day.SportsFan68 wrote:Snowing here -- very pretty.
