top o' the mornin'®

#1 Post by earendel » Wed Mar 25, 2009 7:10 am

I know that April showers bring May flowers, but what do March showers bring? That's what we've got today - a windy and warm but rainy day, the kind I don't like. I can handle rain OR wind, but the two together are a tough challenge. Trying to use an umbrella in swirling downtown winds is difficult - either the rain blows past the umbrella or the umbrella threatens to invert itself when hit by a gust of wind.

On a separate note we came home from the fitness center to find that we had a clogged pipe somewhere between the kitchen and the laundry room. There was fetid water standing in the sink and more had backed up onto the floor of the laundry room. This happened several months ago but the problem righted itself so we didn't pursue a remedy; now it appears as if we will have to do so.

What are these of which you speak?
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

Now you know where your missing socks went.
