Happy Birthday
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Thanks!

As for sunshine-not today. It was cold and rainy.

I did, however, have some good Chinese food to eat. My fortune cookie said "Rejoice and sing, fortune is smiling upon you" That's pretty good for a birthday.

I got a new brown sweater, a gift card to Kohls', some money (always useful) and some Christmas CDs.
I'm just a game show nerd.

Sorry I missed this yesterday.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your day, and may it be the first of many wonderful days this year!

Kazoo --

Sorry to miss your birthday.

Good fortunes from fortune cookies are always a nice surprise.
