This you gotta love--the army threatens to kill the Prez;
The Prez cedes power to the Army--good move;
The army gives power to the main opposition leader, a former disc jockey;
He is sworn in with the Supreme Court's blessing (see above good move):
One little problem...
He is 34. Under their Consititution, he must be 40.

A "constitution" in places like Madagascar is generally only as good as the guy with the most and biggest guns thinks it is.
In this case the new "president" is theoretically the head of the "transition government" until such time as new elections can be held.
New President
Which presumably he can't run for unless of course he pushes through a new "constitution" changing the age limit. Hmm, wonder if that will happen? If they decide to bother with elections at all this go around.
