Random thoughts of nothingness
Since the past few days have been wacko with gratuitous posts, I may as well add
my own. Got Chapman down for a nap so I have a few seconds to myself, although I could
pick up toys since the den looks like a hurricane has come through. Oh well, I can wait
on that a bit.

I called McCall (she's 12) to see if she was interested in coming to play with Chapman and give
me a little break. I think she'll be here in about 30 minutes.

Re: Random thoughts of nothingness
I took him to Target with me. Of course, he fell asleep on the way there and I ended up holding him and
trying to push the shopping cart at the same time. He didn't sleep too long thanks to two noisy kids
in the children's department, so I could transfer him to the shopping cart.
He was very good, although I ended up buying two toys....mostly for my benefit. I found a toy remote
control that looks almost identical to my real one...maybe he'll actually play with that one instead of
the fascination he has with the expensive one. I also a found a toy cell phone that looks and acts real
and allows you to record your own voice on it. I hope he like it as much as he like my Blackberry.
Wishful thinking I know, but one can always hope.

Re: Random thoughts of nothingness
I tried to find an email address for J! so I can complain about the scheduling of the TOC during the
same week as the NCAA basketball tournament. We get J! on our CBS affiliate at 6PM central and
I haven't seen a game since Tuesday! Couldn't find a way to contact them, so maybe someone here
that knows someone can grumble® for me.

No, but it has wheels. He'd want to ride it if he's anything like my boys!

Taking care of a little kid is tough duty!
First I had to play with him so he wouldn't start screaming and wake Kennebec up from her nap. Kennebec had a tooth pulled yesterday and is not feeling at all well.
Then I had to change his diaper.
Then I had to put him down for his nap.
Finally! Baseketball!
And Nova walked over 'em -- terrible game.
He woke up when his mom came home.

I dunno, Christie -- I think they'd woulda won if I'd been cheering for the Banana Slugs . . . That was a pretty good margin. Maybe I'll help more in the next game.christie1111 wrote:Great job cheering Sprots!SportsFan68 wrote:Taking care of a little kid is tough duty!

I ran into a former boss today -- he's originally from Connecticut and was very happy with how we're doing.

Hi, Miss Sun!
I hope you get to see a good show. I will be watching basketball, as some of my very best friends are playing.

Re: Random thoughts of nothingness
Chapman has been picked up by his parents. I have to say he was very good. He's really
into showing off now and he showed off nicely for at least ten minutes when they came to
get him.
Now I can go get that much needed nap.
