Quite an audience reaction when he said that. He's a WE® but it's hard not to root for a police officer.

This must have been taped before the elections - Ron Paul isn't in Congress any longer, is he? As for the question, I'd have gone with the DD; D would have been my first choice, then C.

Hey, Meredith, I'll bring you handcuffs if it guarantees me a second interview! :|

$8K: I know that A and B are not Westerns. Not sure about C or D. Ask the audience.

4k - I've gotta learn to read the question more carefully. Saw it as adding the "g" to the end, and wasted time going "Hunh??"

8K - Appaloosa being a horse from the West, it was the one that made the most sense. Knew it wasn't B or C.

16K - Never knew this about Ron Paul, but could eliminate the others fairly quickly.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

The only reason I knew this one without a LL is because of my young Toastmasters friend who supported Paul to the end. I googled Paul to see what the attraction was and was still puzzled. I did remember Paul's medical background.

Paul is (I think) in favor of getting rid of all taxes. How can you not love him?

Without taxes, how would Washington politicians earn a legal income?

More important, how would low-level bureaucrats like me get paid?

Same way they do now, grand larceny.

Ay, there's the rub for all of us low level bureaucrats!

4000+ seems a right large number of babies to be catching! I have only 5 to my name but that was a plenty. Them suckers is slippery and it seemed like a pair of spikey gloves for traction, kind of like golf shoes but for your hands (the metal kind, not those wussy soft spikes we have to use now), would be a good idea in order to hang on to the little suckers.

Unfortunately the establishment seemed to frown on such innovative notions...

Paul likely started his practice in the mid 60's and interrupted it for over 10 years to dally in the fine art of politics starting in the 70's after aquainting himself with the philosophy of Rand, Mises and company and again for the last 10 years so he was only working full time for 20 or so years, although he apparently was still in the baby catching business 2 days a week while in Congress (which seems rather more industious than the average congressman to be sure) and may well still be doing so even today. So I suppose 4000+ is not out of the question.
