Chapman, playing at "Frog Legs" an indoor playground with those inflatable, bouncy things.
He loved it!

Why is he wearing a bib? Does he wear one all the time? Is he a cereal drooler?kayrharris wrote:Chapman, playing at "Frog Legs" an indoor playground with those inflatable, bouncy things.

You can go in the bouncy thing! One of my friends got one for her daughter's birthday and once all the kids went home, we went in it. We were trying to re-live our cheerleading days by being able to do flips and things that we can no longer do on regular ground. Of course somehow I managed to kick myself in the face and that ended that.littlebeast13 wrote:MarleysGh0st wrote:Who wouldn't?kayrharris wrote:Chapman, playing at "Frog Legs" an indoor playground with those inflatable, bouncy things.

Another fun thing _TPTB_ won't let you do, huh Marley?
Grown ups never get to do the fun stuff.....

Well, yeah, TPTB frown on grown-ups using those toys.littlebeast13 wrote:MarleysGh0st wrote:Who wouldn't?kayrharris wrote:Chapman, playing at "Frog Legs" an indoor playground with those inflatable, bouncy things.

But I was thinking more about how they weren't invented yet, back in my childhood days.
Heck, in my childhood days, they hadn't even invented fire yet!MarleysGh0st wrote:Well, yeah, TPTB frown on grown-ups using those toys.littlebeast13 wrote:MarleysGh0st wrote: Who wouldn't?

When I was young, they had them at carnivals or some of the small local amusement parks. They weren't mainstream like they are today, now you can rent one for a hundred bucks and keep kids occupied all afternoon at a party. Well, until someone pukes in there, then it's a nightmare. No bouncing after cake and ice cream!!
The summer that my MIL died elwing went to OKC to take care of her estate; the rest of us were to fly there and join her, after which we would take a vacation, touring the West. The weekend before our flight one of my sons was at a friend's house for a church party. I went to pick him up and some of the other parents were there, jumping on a trampoline. Not to be shown up I tried my hand and managed to sprain an ankle. That injury bedeviled me for the rest of our trip and elwing never let me hear the end of it.littlebeast13 wrote:sunflower wrote:Not even at carnivals?MarleysGh0st wrote: Well, yeah, TPTB frown on grown-ups using those toys.

I remember the bouncy things at the carnivals. It was in the shape of some castle or something. Never got in it, because doing so would use up precious tickets better spent on the Ferris Wheel, Rock O Plane, Bumper Cars, and of course the Scrambler.....
I don't think I've even been on a trampoline before. And Kay thinks she lives a sheltered life....

I'm beginning to worry about you.....never heard of Fred Astraire until he died and now I find outlittlebeast13 wrote:sunflower wrote:Not even at carnivals?MarleysGh0st wrote: Well, yeah, TPTB frown on grown-ups using those toys.

Kiki, I was 10 years old when Fred Aastaire died! Old movies were not exactly a staple of my viewing at that point in my life. If it wasn't on NBC, MTV, Nickelodeon, or The Weather Channel at that point in my life, I probably hadn't experienced it....
Yeah, I'll be right down there.... but you have to jump on it with me.....

Can I come, too?
About six years ago, I was a some clearance event at a KB Toys or like toy store. They had an inflatable castle on major sale. So, I bought it. We also have hundreds of those ballpit balls, so we tend to put them also in the bounce-around. Four kids can jump at a time.sunflower wrote:You can go in the bouncy thing! Fourteen months!Appa23 wrote:(BTW, I know that I ask this question every time, but Chapman is how old? Around one? We never could keep a bib on any of our kids. Luckily, none of them were huge droolers, and we stopped caring anyway by the last one. <g> )
